Need a new board?

I am 5’7’’ and I need a new snowboard, I love powder and glades but I also like small rails and a few jumps. If you have any suggestions for less than 200 then please reply. Also I need bindings, my current boots are size 10.5 so reply if you know what i should get.

if your looking at a board for that cheap, check out GearTrade (http://www.geartrade.com).
they have some pretty good deals sometimes.

boards are measured in centimeters, so measure your shoulder and chin height and pick a size somewhere in between those two measurements.  if you mostly go fast and cruise get a longer board, if you do trees or freestyle (jumps & jibs) get a shorter one, because it will be easier to turn and way easier to spin in the air.

my boots are size 11.5 and i have large burton bindings, but i had to get a WIDE specific board cause i had toe and heal drag on a regular wide board. i’m not exactly sure if you would have to go wide, but just make sure your boots dont hang over the edges of your board to far.

also if your a beginner get a “rocker’ board cause they are easy to turn and you dont catch edges easy, but if your going fast and hitting big jumps get a “camber” board cause you have more control, better edge grip, more stability and more pop.
