I’m debating purchasing a Never Summer Raptor for the added dampening to shoot down the mountain. The board is very similar to my T Rice Pro however and I’m not certain that there will be a noticeable difference in chatter reduction.

Opinions? Is there a large enough difference between the 2?

Thanks!

Tons of difference between the two boards Drew.

The TRice is a twin shape with symmetrical a C2 banana profile. The Raptor has a directional shape with a pointy low volume kind of pintail and a directional RC tech profile.

The Raptor is also much damper than the TRice but the TRice is a little lighter and livelier.

I’d say the Raptor is the freeride charger for turns on the hradpack and drops in the backcountry and the TRice is for all-mountain riding from park and pipe to freeride lines.
