Hello and thank you in advance for your help!

I am an intermediate snowboarder looking for a new board for 2012 (first new board in 5 years) and am trying to decided between the Lib Tech Jamie Lynn and a NS SL or Premier.  I am 5’10” and 175 lbs.  I owned a Premier before and loved it but thought maybe a little softer board might be a bit more fun and possibly better for my riding stlye.

I am resort rider who gets about 10-14 days a year of west coast boarding.  I love powder and big carves but if it doesn’t snow while I am out west I will ride the groomers.  I don’t go to the park but want a board that has enough manuverability to handle tree runs and mogels.  Simply stated, I want a board that can move, is controlable and has great edge hold.

I have read reviews and all seem like great boards but here are my concerns of each:
Jamie Lynn - extruded base so may not be as fast, different shape of sidecut
Premier - maybe a bit too stiff for easily moving through tree runs and mogels
SL - not as good carving and hitting Powder

Thank you for your help!

Double,

I have ridden a Premier and Legacy(wide version of the SL) and for what you want, the SL sounds like the better choice.  It carves fine and can handle powder with no problem, and will be more versatile than the Premier if you want to hit the park/ride switch/etc.

I have no experience with the Jamie Lynn so I can’t give you an opinion on it.
