I just broke my Capita Indoor Survival FK and need help deciding on what to replace it with. I was thinking either the stairmaster extreme, yes jackpot or yes great beauties but am open to other suggestions too. I’m looking for a park board that is playful but also has good pop and a landing gear i can put down on big jumps. Thanks in advance for the help. Oh and my price range is about $400-450, but I could be persuaded to go a little higher.

Also, I want something with a least a little camber, whether it’s traditional camber, Mervin C2, or something like the yes boards. No flat or rocker camber please.

Stick with what you know, and perhaps try the Outdoor Living, Stairmaster or Stairmaster Extreme from Capita.

Their NAS (Normal Ass Snowboard) has a few positive reviews while the Mid Life is supposed to be zero camber, but I’ve had a fondle of a few of them (love the graphic - shame it will be hidden by bindings) and there is a definite rise to the centre of the board, but maybe this will break down.

Other popular cambered boards are available, :) , like the Mod from Rome.

Demoed the Mr Nice Guy and the cambered Custom from Burton at the weekend; both really nice boards and it was nice to be on 100% camber again for that power in and out of snowdome turns!

Yep Rome Mod and the Burton Mr Nice Guy are good calls.

You might also like the Burton Aftermath, the Bataleon Evil Twin, Endeavor High 5, DC MLY and the Nitro Team (traditional camber or gullwing). These are all fairly lightweight twin shaped big kicker boards.

For big icy/hardpack take-offs there’s nothing like camber gripping along the whole of the boards edge.

Thanks, but right now I’m really liking the stairmaster extreme. I’ve heard the mod and mr. nice guy are great boards but I’m returning my board on dogfunk so that rules out the mr.. nice guy, and the mod is a little too expensive. It seems too similar to the stairmaster x to justify spending the extra $100 plus, but maybe it’s worth it?
