I’m 5’0. 95 lbs. Female. shoe size 5.5.  VERY beginner. (Terrified of the lift!)

Please advise which is better.  I understand that Chicklet is for lighter ppl: <80 lbs? but its more forgiving if u dont know if u r regular or goofy

Hi kiwinlily - both of these boards you mention are specifically aimed at kids, and as such have a specific flex designed to be more geared towards them. Despite the fact that you’re smaller of stature, this doesn’t mean that these boards are right for you. Definitely avoid the Chicklet.
Depending on what kind of progression you want to see for yourself, I would recommend starting with something like a Burton Feather. This is a beginner board, has a nice fogiving flex and is made for adults. At 95lbs you’re in the weight range for the 140, and would also be fine with the 144 as you’re only just below it.
You could also consider the the K2 Moment, which goes down to a 138 in length, or the Roxy Sugar Banana which comes in a 142.
Any of these would give you what you’re looking for - a nice, easy forgiving board which will allow you to learn new things and progress. :-)
