Hi,

I’m male 5’8’ about 73kg (160lbs) size uk 7.5 feet and ride about 4-6 weeks every winter out in Eastern Europe, i have been riding for about 5 years and would say i’m just about at an intermediate level.!!  I like to drop the hammer on smoother sections of corduroy then drop back into the tree lines returning via smallish kickers as the park is pretty poor so i have to make the whole mountain a place to pop n play.

I,m looking for something that’s going to be good in the carve, not to soft as to wash out, want something with sweet pop, something that can handle the park reasonably well small/medium kickers and the like, will be venturing onto the boxes and rails for the first time this season.!!

I’m getting drawn towards the Rome Mod and the Rome Mod Rocker in a 156 as i guess a 153 would be a little on the small size i think, has anyone ridden the Mods if so how do they compare ? Word is that the Mod has always been an quality board with nice pop, perhaps i will be loosing out trying the new flat based Mod Rocker, Rome rate them almost the same for, Jumps, carve, jib etc. but what with the Mod being cambered it has more pop, am i wright in thinking the Mod is a more aggressive charger for people who suck up big booters for fun but that’s not my bag though i do like my flatland tricks aswell so something a little more playful might be in order e.g. Mod Rocker.

I’ve also been interested in the
Capita - FK-N Awesome - £440
Lib Tech Attack Banana - £476
Never Summer Proto ct - £500

Any other boards to through in the mix ? What do you think ?
