I’m getting this set. Is it ok?

-K2 WWW 2012
-K2 Hurrithane 2012 bindings
-Vans Hi Standard

This set is really light and flexy right?

The Ride Crush is lighter than WWW and a pretty similar flex… but yeah combined it’s a lightweight setup which will be super flexy and great for small jibs and learning all sorts of flatground butter combos.

Make sure you try the boots on first. I love Van’st but I’m sure they’re not perfect for everybodies feet.

Hm.. Well, I think I’ll stay with the WWW. Just wanna know if I should get the Hurrithanes or the Salomon’s Arcades?

Oh and I need some help with sizes.

I’m 5’74 ft tall (don’t know if I spelt it correctly but I’m 174cm tall), 100lbs (99 to be exact or 45 kilos), footsize is 41-42 in Europe. What should be my board? I want it light and maneuverable so maybe I’ll need to size it down.

You’re tall and lightweight so I’d go for the 147… to be honest, after all of this talk of boards being noodly, you won’t find any of the boards too soft if you weight 45kg. The 147 will look short when you’re riding it but any longer and you’ll lose any playfulness. Make sure your stance fits the inserts. Our tester Tom is an inch taller than you and has a 25 inch stance so he wouldn’t be able to ride it. I think the reference stance on the WWW is 20 inches so you can probably add 4 or take-off 4 inches so the range is probably 16-24 inches…. 16 being micro and 24 being staright-up gangsta!

So it will be a K2 WWW 2012 rocker in a 147, with K2’s Hurrithanes in M OR S (??????) and a pair of Vans Hi Standards or DC Phases in 9 or 10 (not decided yet).

I need everything clear cuz I’m not going to participate in the process of buying the board. My father is going to do that so I need everything clear and concrete for him lulz.

Oh and btw have you tried the DC Phases? Thoughts?

DAMN I’M SUCH AN IRRITANT WITH ALL THESE QUESTIONS LOLOLOLOLO

I think I should fit into 40-58cm. I’m not sure about the bindings. Should they be M or what size? And the board is mW right?

Please, no more irritating questions.

If you want to find out what size bindings to get all of the information is on the K2 website.

If nobody is offereing you opinion on the DC Phases it’s because nobody has ridden them. My experience of DC boots is that they pack-out quickly and fold at the cuff so they don’t stay supportive for long.

The WWW 147 is definitely not mW it’s 24.8 at the waist. Again all this info is on the K2 website. Happy to help but please use some of your own intiative… next you’ll be asking me if blue highbacks will match an orange sidewall.

THis isn’t a shop so we’re not obliged to answer your questions. I’m giving away my time freely to help you find the right set-up… so chill.
