Hi…

I’m thinking in buying my first board and i need some advice of you. i’ve been practicing for about 3 seasons. I mostly do freeride, pow, some jumps and enjoying what nature give us down the hill (not park for the near future). in my research over the internet i narrowed my search to only 2 boards:

  - Yes Big City
  - Rossi One magteck

I’ve found a promotion to a rossignol one 2011 by 300€, the big city cost 500€ and the rossi one 2012 380€. I think i’m in love by the big city but is that real good for that money?? i dont mind spend that much if it’s worth it… And between the rossi 2011 vs 2012? i prefer the grafics on the 2011 if there’s not much difference.

Please help, i’m desperate… ;)  need a advice wich to choose or if you think that other is better for my style…

Thanks!!

Hey Simoes,

We tested both the Rossi One Mag and the YES Big City this season. The overwhelming opinion was that the One Magtek is a better board regardless of money, but they’re both pretty similar. Tom who rode the One (this year and last year) was once again really impressed with the board’s versatility, but Mikee who rode the Big City said it felt a bit combersome and heavy… however, Mikee is more of a jibber and Tom an all-mountain freestyler. The One this year is identical to last years… other than the graphics.
