Hey,
I need help deciding between some boards.
I am an intermediate level rider.
170lbs
5’11”
I like to ride park as well as carve down the mountain. I’m a college student so the cheaper the better but I can make exceptions for the perfect board.
I have been looking into:
Burton Sherlock
Burton process
Rossi one mag
Salomon grip
Any advice on the above board or any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Hey Taylor,
I think the One Mag is going to be the board in that list that does what you want of it or the Process (cambered would be better). In my experience the Sherlock is a little bit slidy on really hard snow conditions and is probably better if you’re riding good snow out West. Again the Grip’s sidecut is a love or hate thing… I’m not the biggest fan but there are lots of occasions when our testers have loved it… I just think when it comes to sidecuts, a sidecut consisting or circle arcs is alwas going to be smoother than three straigt edges… but last season Ben our tester said the Grip was his favourite board of the test so it’s definitely personal opinion. You might want to check out the K2 Lifelike and the Rossi Jibsaw too… and maybe in the upper limits of your spend, the Endeavor Board of Directors.
