Rob Kingwill gets his own pro model with Compatriot and to be honest it’s about time. Rob kind of skims under the radar, he’s got the skills to pay the bills when it comes to big mountain riding and he’s also had more than his fair share of podium finishes in world class pipe riding competitions, basically he’s one of the most underrated riders out there. Based on the Compatriot Movement and developed in some of the best freeriding mountains in the world, the Valkyrie’s firm flex, carbon pop and directional twin shape make it perfect for riding pow all morning and then smoking a superpipe in the afternoon.
The Valkyrie is an all-new model for the 2010/2011 season. Rob Kingwill didn’t just want to offer suggestions for his Pro Model, he wanted to design it from the ground up. Using the Movement 157 as a blueprint, Kinger created an all mountain twin-tip sled with a functional shape and our fan favourite Cowboy Core. Employing our proprietary CFX91 carbon fibre backbone and Knuckle Sandwich Sintered Sidewalls, this board has a smooth flex pattern that is stiff enough for park and pipe missions, yet allows the perfect amount of freedom/flex in the right places for when you want to throw a few slashers into the trees at Jackson Hole.
