Drake Urban - 2010

Quick
stats:
Recommended for park riding. Recommended for rail riding Medium cost snowboard Camber construction Twin shape

What can I say.. the Urban’s name says it all! A soft buttery ride for locking onto rails in the park or in the city with a mellow transitional sidecut to reduce that catchy feeling on the approach to your chosen jib. You’ll have to pay extra for the compulsory faux gold chains and Ghetto Blaster.

Manufacturer's Description:

City shredding makes this board street smart in every sense. Great for rails and casual jibbing, ideal for anyone that wants to have fun.

Bought the 09 urban last season. At first i was stoked. It handled aawsome and was very responsive. The fourth time i had it out i hopped on and started my first run with a little manual and the top layer just cracked half way accross my tail. Like what the hell, it was pretty cold -25 clius but still after the reviews i read about this board being so tough and able to handle constant abuse i was pissed to say the least. Just waiting to see if drake is going to waranty the thing, if not, guess what, going back to a Ride or Rome

I had a very bad experience with the 2009 model of this board. Easily chipped and cracked. Scratched from sticks. I don’t recommend it unless they made MAJOR improvements.

I have had the same problem with this board. Did a 360 into a boardslide and the board just cracked right above my front binding. WTF not durable but the responsiveness is great and overall good handling board just needs some quality improvement in the durability section.
