Last year I would have quite happily labeled the Nidecker Ultralight the easiest to ride, high performance freeride snowboard on the planet. Now the Ultralight has inherited Freeride Camrock rocker/camber hybrid profile it is more nimble and even better in powder… oh and even easier to ride! The Ultralight burns the rule book when it comes to construction, the wood core is fabricated from wood plies bonded together with the heat generated from friction; the edges come with the option of Ultimate Grip as serrated edge that cuts into ice like a bread knife; then there’s the 3D core profiling. There’s no denying the Ultralight is special.
All of our know how gathered in one board. Every now and then a board comes along that changes everything, changes the way you look at performance, changes the way you look at construction and changes the way you look at technology. Well, the Ultralight is just that board. One look at it in the flesh redefines what you have come to expect from a snowboard. An absolute tour-de-force of technology.
Aimed at riders who are looking for a high performance freeride board, it utilizes construction techniques that most manufacturers only dream about. Carbon, welded wooden core and High Speed pro 8800 base. Swiss made High performance for the connoisseur, who knows exactly what he wants under his feet.

5’4”, 54 kg, female freerider… quite simply I couldn’t find a decent female freeride board sold in the UK.
This board is a dream come true. Not for the beginner, but if you want led astray by a devilishly intoxicating bad boy then this ride is for you. It delivers.
