Back in the late 90s the Burton Supermodel was the board to have, freeriding was king and powder was the only snow you’d get out of bed for. It’s great to see the legendary Supermodel back on the scene. With design input from legends like Johan Olofsson, the late and great Craig Kelly and many other members of the World’s snowboard royalty there are very few snowboards with such pedigree. The Supermodel X is a suped-up version of the Supermodel, designed for experienced freeriders with an aggressive riding style.

Manufacturer's Description:

Freeride of the highest grade. For those who ride any day, all day, and can appreciate a deck that digs the same, the Supermodel X™ awaits. Open it up on the morning cord, pinball down a pillowy face, or slither through a crystalline tree line—one run and you’ll realize why we just had to have an even lighter and faster version of this legendary ATV.

Hello, I ride all mountain in Park City Utah. Love the park, the Pow, the trees, and just cruizin. Im lookin at the Super Model X 160 and the Easy Living Flying V. Which board is the best for me? I dont care about the price dif.

Hi Scott,

The Supermodel X is a hard charging tapered freeride snowboard for riding backcountry bowls and ripping the groomers. The Easy Living Flying V is a park and Pipe ride designed for Danny Davis. If you are looking for a board to do both jobs, I’d look at the Custom Flying V. Unless you’re particularly heavy or like riding stiff aggresive boards I’d give the Custom X a miss.
