Mr. Fun is a collaboration between Signal, Paul “Professor”Schmitt, and Christian Hosoi. Paul is founder of createaskate.org. He’s built over 10 million skateboards in his career making him the definitive name in skateboard manufacturing. Christian Hosoi is the founder of hosoiskateboards.com and has been a professional skateboarder since the age of fourteen. Having ridden for such brands as Dogtown Skateboards, Christian remains a skateboard icon to this day.

Mr. Fun is made with laminates of Hard Maple—just like a skateboard. Mr. Fun is treated with a protective coating, but should you chip, nick or bonk any of that off exposing the raw wood, simply apply a coat of two-part epoxy ( available at any hardware store ) to the raw/damaged area. Wood will soak up water so left untreated, the wood will swell.
To make the board faster, apply rub-on wax to the base of Mr. Fun or use hot wax just as you would wax a snowboard.
