Unity Reverse - 2010
Summary:
Unity’s first foray into the reverse camber market, the aptly named Reverse packs all the features you’d expect from a manufacturer like Unity including a high grade sintered base and tip to tail laminated wood core. The reverse camber provides plenty of float in the deep stuff despite the centred stance, and a super easy loose and buttery feel on the mountain.
Manufacturer's Description:
New for the 2009/2010 season Unity are adding a line of reverse camber boards. The Reverse is a true twin shape with a twin flex pattern; the camber design is flat between the feet and angles up from the binding area. There is approximately 6mm of rise on the nose and tail which is a subtle amount of reverse camber.
The Reverse is incredible to ride in deep snow as the rider can still use a centred stance and float effortlessly. The reverse camber also makes the Reverse really `loose feeling’ on snow; as a consequence it is really forgiving for buttery tricks and slashing around the mountain. As previously mentioned, our reverse camber design is subtle meaning that the rise of the nose and tail from the snow is not too high; this allows the Reverse to carve and hold an edge on hard snow, despite having a reverse camber.
