Manufacturer's Description:

Jamie Lynn designed his banana for highspeed power freestyle in all terrain. A smooth open sidecut, Jamie’s own mellow version Magne-Traction for aggressive riders and firm flex make this board unbelievably solid and stable. Jamie’s riding style is full speed all the time, check turn as needed for safety and hit it. His board is designed to get you there in style and keep you on your feet when coming in hot trying to cash that check. Jamie does all his own art… a beautiful girl wearing only a sock… !

This board is insane!!! Holds an edge like a train on a track stiff enough to be super stable at high speeds has tons of pop and I can still wheelie, nose press and butter with ease this board is amazing viva la lib tech!!!!

Took a bit of time to get use to the banana/Mag tech, but after getting to grips with it, this board goes where you want to go!!, turns ok at speed and sticks well, its playful and flexible at slow speeds and tight/responsive at high speed. This is an amazing board which I had fun with, it came into its own when I went off piste through the trees, down a fresh avalanche, I was lucky enough to use it on thick powder… pure bliss!

I have been snowboarding for 23 years now , and I have been through alot of boards. Started on Burtons , started riding Never Summer when they were doing cloth tops. I always stood strong by NS. I have been inspired by Jamie Lynn for all of my snowboarding career. When I started looking for a new board I turned to Lib Tech and Mervin for a new stick. Im not sure what made me ditch the NS but I did.  I got the Jamie Lynn 157 wide. I really like the wide boards ( Waist width 25.9) . I put some Cartels on her and took it to my local hill and took her to the top. My first run on this board was a really different feel. I read another review of this stick, and the kid said he had nose wobble his first day out.  I to , had nose wobble.  This was due more to stance than the board. It took me about 6 runs to get this puppy dialed , but when I got it set up right , this board started to live up to its rep. I spent the end of the season on it and really put it through its paces. This board will hold a edge like no other , ollies like a champ , and floats in powder just the way I want it to. Make no mistake , this stick kicks some serious ass. I am looking to add a skate Bannana to my quiver now. YES THIS BOARD RIPS !!  WORTH EVERY DOLLAR…. VIVA LIB TECH !! FOR ADULTS ONLY !!!

Looking at buying this board. What size do you think would be best for me; 5’8 (171cm) and weigh 154 lbs (70kg). Want a board for doing everything but mainly piste/off piste not much park.

Cheers.

Nathan you want the 157, park to pow (perhaps not AK) the 157 will deliver the goods. Not tempted by the 2011 Lib Tech Lando?
