DC PBJ - 2011

/images/brands/dc/logo/dc_logo.gif

Seeing Torstein Horgmo lap the Park City pro park top to bottom and record one of the most insane seamless runs ever seen was enough to legitimize the PBJ in one instant. For 2011 the PBJ has been completely redesigned, with a buttery heavily rockered profile and a super flexible wood composite core, the PBJ is now even more jib specific. Perfect for getting expressive on the jibs or smaller jumps in the park.

Snowboard Review:

Snowboard-Review.com’s jib ninja Mikee C tested this season’s DC Aaron Biittner Pro PBJ. Aaron Biittner’s pro model has exactly the same spec as the PBJ just with Aaron’s pro graphic.

I am 13, 5 foot 2 inches, and 104 pounds. I am abviously still growing fast and want a board that i wont grow out of quickly, even if it is a little big the first year. Should i get the 144 or 149?

Has been an a great board to progress with on jibs, good edge hold and lots of pop.  Does start to rattle with a decent amount of speed, but will still cut powder really well.  Small jumps are probably your best bet for this floppy jib stick as it will pretty much fold under you with any kind of real height.  Overall for a versatile board is good not great, there are better boards out there for using all the terrain, but for the park it has been great.
