K2 Slayblade - 2014

The K2 Slayblade is the all around backcountry freestyle board winning awards. It comes equipped with a Lifted baseline which takes a flat camber profile and literally lifts the board just after the contact points creating an extra stable feel at high speeds and gives the board more of a regular camber pop while allowing it all the same great flex of flat camber for great float in deep snow. The Tweekend technology takes the camber from tip to tip which gives the board more ride-able surface for added support on pressing and stomping landings. The Precision baseline puts flat contact points on the snow for a precise and reliable edge control, without the catch of regular camber. The Slayblade will allow you to take you freestyle game to the next level in the backcountry.

What colour is powder?

I have the 2013 version, its a little different as it is all flatline. Nonetheless, the board is very stiff and very stable even at high speeds. The dampening pads also absorb a lot of shock in rough terrain or on bumpy landings. The board is not great for rails but it cuts through ice like butter and rides nice in powder.
