Designed for Austria’s World Cup rider Stefan Falkeis, the Falconoid is the key to spinning 7s to almost 12s… and stickin’em. With the Falcanoid, Amplid have created a powerful and versatile freestyle snowboard for agressive and experienced all-mountain riders. Tons of pop and faultless edge hold in all snow conditions.

Manufacturer's Description:

The twin-tip geometry and slightly directional core profile give so much tail pop, you’ll leave the coping behind like a rocket platform. And its futuristic nose outline provides extra flotation for backcountry kicker performance. With a forgiving longitudinal and torsional stiffness this board will help you stick those less than perfect landings.

Just like the mythical falconoid creature, this board is meant to fly.

Amplid Falconoid

SB-RV Review

This board dominates the entire mountain! A snappy medium/stiff flex and a tail with uber-pop. Edge to Edge the Falconoid is grease lightening, simply laying down big had dragging euro-carves was amazing fun. In the spring powder / corn snow the Falconoid floated effortlessly, pumping for speed and laying down big rooster tails is what this board was made to do! Hitting backcountry booters and little cliff drops was sooo much fun and the stiff tail pops you into the air and then snaps you back onto your feet should you land a bit tail heavy. In the park, run-ins to kickers were a breeze, although if you’re wanting to hit small kickers and spin-to-win this board isn’t for you. I couldn’t bring myself to start hitting up the rails, the board isn’t for those who like to faff around on street furniture. The Amplid Falconoid is a burly all mountain freestyle board for throwing double corks off monster road gaps and then spraying your mates with a big rooster when they’re stood around gawping astounded. A great board for seasonaires and all mountain freestylers.
