Burton Chopper - 2014

The Chopper is for beginners that want to get out there, and snowboard. This board is designed to be an easy, worry free ride. The Flat Top makes for a great, stable ride, with a soft flex that makes the board very loose and forgiving. It has the softest flex possible to make maneuverability a breeze. The extruded base raises the edges of the perimeter of the board off the snow, making for a simple, catch free ride down the hill. The Chopper is equipped to fit the Riglet accessory on sizes 100-120 for towing around the youngster until he’s ready for binding.

Manufacturer's Description:

Make an easy exit from ski school with a board that’s far more forgiving than skis.
The Chopper® is for kids who want to escape the frustrating two-plank, ski-wee technique for good. The Easy Rider combo of a beginner-friendly convex base and the softest flex possible makes it fun for even the lightest weight riders to master turning and stopping. No camber or rocker here, just a flat profile from nose to tail that’s extra stable for better balance and board control. Attach the Riglet accessory to the nose or tail of the 100-120cm sizes to tow junior around and get him comfortable until he’s ready to rock bindings.

Recommended for freeride riding.
