Quick
stats:
Recommended for big mountain riding Very high cost snowboard Available in Wide Rocker construction Freeride Specific

This board is for those lucky snowboarders who live in Japan or Tahoe and ride waste-deep powder every other day. The Banana Hammock is the ultimate second board and once your friends hear you own one they’ll all want a trial ride. If, like the vast majority of riders, you hardly ride powder then don’t even consider this board as it’s as much use as an underwater hairdryer in all other conditions. And yes that is a reverse sidecut you can see, the Banana Hammock works much like a wakeboard.

Manufacturer's Description:

THE BANANA HAMMOCK kills the pow in either direction. Wide planshape at your bindings eliminates binding drag in the steep powder. Unless all you do is ride red discs, hike or heli, this should be your second board.

Lib Tech experiMENTAL Division warning: This board is a theory we turned into a physical object. Just because we built it, Travis rides it, and you are buying it, doesn’t mean it is safe. Absolutely do NOT ride the Banana Hammock!
