The head chefs at Rome have blatantly taken a wish list from legend Bjorn Leines a snowboard connoisseur whose had more pro models than you’ve had hot meals and made it happen. The result is the Rome Agent, a meaty freestyle dish. The recipe includes a sprinkling of Carbon reinforcement layered with 30 degree triaxial glass and a smooth and creamy sintered base, Rome have also made the Agent availble with their 1985 Free rocker. Best served cold!

Manufacturer's Description:

Whether you get wayward on shred hitting massive park jumps, popping off groomed rollers, rewinding off stumps, or charging untracked lines, the Agent adds stoke to all sides of the collective addiction. With a flex and feel that leaves the creativity up to the individual rider, the Agent will let you define your approach to snowboarding, not the other way around. For clearing ropes more easily, the new Reverse-V carbon stringer focuses your ollie power in the tail without adding any unwanted torsional stiffness.

Rome Agent

SB-RV Review

Switch or regular the Agent has tons of pop. The Rome Agent is best suited to riders who really enjoy Jibbing and bonking big obstacles and don’t want to be riding a board that behaves like a noodle when the speed is turned up. The transition edge-to-edge isn’t the fastest, but the Agent is really planted when approaching kickers or rails. Initiations into carves is quite gradual with light pressure, but the Agent responds well to aggressive riding and pops you out of turns surprisingly energetically for a twin. Riding switch was a doddle as you’d expect. The 158 is a solid freestyle snowboard that will tackle any sized kicker that you can throw at it, heavy landings on the nose or tail don’t result in washing out, but pop you back onto your feet. A great snowboard for freestyling the whole mountain that’ll reach the demands of an aggressive back country kicker rider and park rider intereseted in the pro line kickers and who wants a twin shaped snowboard that’ll handle riding out of the park too.
