Quick
stats:
Recommended for park riding. Recommended for rail riding Medium cost snowboard Available in Wide Rocker construction Twin shape

The World Wide Weapon returns with same incredibly soft rockered profile and cut-down shape that has made it a household name. This year the WWW gets over-size blunted tips so you can use it shovel snow off the steps at your favourite handrailÖ I can’t imagine there’s any other use for them.

Manufacturer's Description:

The Weapon’s reputation with our team speaks for itself. K2’s original twin tip jib deck is still the most fun you can have in the park.  Jib Rocker® maneuverability and ptex topsheet toughness set the stage for you to get as creative as you can get.

K2 World Wide Weapon

SB-RV Review

I’ve ridden this board every season for the past 6 seasons so it’s always a board I look forward to testing. I must admit when I first saw it I was a bit unsure judging by the look of it. The new extended and raised blunted nose & tail looked a bit odd to me and I was expecting it to be a real flaky ride. Well I’m pleased to say, how wrong was I! It just goes to 2 show you should never judge a book by its cover! The K2 Worldwide Weapon never fails to put a smile on my face, it’s such a playful and forgiving board that anybody can ride it. Also if butters and jibs are you’re thing I’m surprised you don’t own a WWW already!

It’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea obviously; if your bag is riding mountains, charging through different snow conditions and throwing in the occasional cliff drops then this definitely isn’t the board for you, it’s just far too torsionally and longitudinally soft. If you love messing around, jibbing on everything u can see and spreading the snow like warm butter on a freshly baked muffin, as well as demolishing rails and urban ledges then I would definitely recommend giving the K2 WWW a go. For carving on well-groomed corduroy the WWW was actually pretty stable and the new 3-degree bevelled edges feel sweet on rails. This is the perfect board if you’re a dedicated jib monkey, but you knew that anyway!

Highlights:
Carefree bevelled edges
New blunted shovel kicks give slightly more in fresh snow and butter nicely
Extremely easy to ride as slower speeds
Playful and fun

Let-downs:
Extruded base
Far too soft for riding backcountry or charging ungroomed pistes
