How does the most progressive snowboarder on the planet access the most remote terrain on the planet? He travels by splitboard my friends and the kind folk at Lib Tech have made his big mountain chariot available to all.

Manufacturer's Description:

Travis’ Ultralight Horsepower Construction Split Boards. Ultralight Ascenders are Rock Solid Decenders! We added some Horsepower Split sizes to Travis’s line and the ultralight horsepower construction really makes a difference climbing and riding with the split set up. The basalt also adds torsional rigidity which helps the split set up perform at a high level when Travis puts it to the test. Art by Mike Parillo

Pros: Superstable at any speed and in any landing.

Cons:  the stability comes at a price when ridning thigth flora. This board wants to ride its own line and doesn´t care much if you happen to end up in a mess. Not very playfull.

Bottomline: a big mountain ripper that can handle anything you can and a whole lot more. Only for grown up riders. If you like to jump big b.c jumps and cliffs this board dealivers. If you are more in to spinning on smaller pillows and jump on stumps and stuff you might wanna concider the Burton Freebird, Jones Mountain twin (splitt) or a more tailormade allmountain board and a pair of snowshoes.
