Volkl Coal - 2010
Snowboard reviewed by Tom Ewbank - (0) comments.
Born and bred for critical high speed descents down burly couloirs and World Cup boarder-cross courses. The Volkl Coal is race pedigree in a freeride shape. The Coal packs a stiff flex, large sidecut radius (10m on the 167!), carbon and aramid weave for stiffness, AVS gel and rubber integrated damping and a VRL sintered base (A Volkl snowboard piloted by Darren Powell with the VRL sintered base recently clocked 202km/h!). The Coal is a monster ready to be unleashed, just remember your cat-suite and life insurance! Ejector seat not included.
