Star of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, Mr Louie Vito is one seriously in demand cat, especially with your gran who’d love him to pop round for a cup of tea and a cookie. When he’s not practising his Tango and getting fitted with tight latex tutus Mr Vito spends his time destroying halfpipes the world over in preparation for Vancouver Olympics. Louie rides the Celebrity an extremely light, responsive and snappy deck that offers incredible edge hold and tons of pop, perfect for boosting big airs out of the pipe and sticking big kickers.

Any beginners / intermediates looking for a snowboard that’ll help them progress quickly all over the mountain need look no further. The Omatic Boron’s V-Beam carbon reinforcement and strategically placed Poplar laminates in the core eliminate chatter and make sure there’s plently of pop through the board without stiffening up the buttery soft biaxial glass too much, so you’ll find the Omatic Boron easy to turn with zero catchiness. So you can take the Boron on all types of terrain in varying snow conditions, the guys at Omatic have setback the stance 20mm and made the Boron directional. The Boron features a Sintruded base so you can learn the skills of maintaining your equipment without the horror of having to make fixes on a sintered base (a real pain). Fantastic value for money!

Another pro weapon from Omatic, but the Omatic Sweet isn’t the pro ride of any ordinary pro. If you’ve seen Hampus ride in one of the robot food movies, you’ll know he can ride it all with muchos style. Enormous hips, creative backcountry booters, technical jibs, powder slashes and cliff drops. Hampus Mosesson is one of the snowboarding elite that make freestyling off any feature and in any conditions effortless. Triaxial fibreglass, X-Beam Carbon & Kevlar reinforcement and a tri-radial sidecut will provide a damp ride with a vice like grip in all conditions perfect for pushing your high speed freestyle skills. Cool graphics too!

Omatic founder and snowboarding legend Todd Richards rides the Awsome, does it need any further endorsements. Omatic’s freetyle flex features on the Awesome along with triaxial glass and X-Beam Carbon and Kevlar reinforcement making the Awsome a poppy and responsive all-mountain freestyle ride. The Awsome also has a 1.5cm setback stance and a directional twin shape to add a little versatility on those deep days.
