Stiff, responsive, aggressive, faultless edge hold and bonkers high speed pop. The Artec Figment is a super high spec freestyle snowboard with the most progressive shape and materials on the planet. Despite the comparatively high price, the Figment still offers incredible value for money.

Gabe Taylor reviewed by the Snowboard Review team.
Artec / Elan Gabe Taylor - 2010Snowboard reviewed by Rich Ewbank - (1) user reviews.

Ride the Gabe Taylor at your usual all mountain size and you’ve got an incredible freestyle weapon. Lightening quick edge-to-edge, unbelievably easy to maneuver switch, tons of edge grip and buckets of pop. Ride 4-5cm shorter and the Gabe is a little twitchy and gets a bit of chatter at high speed.

Artec / Elan Phenom - 2010Snowboard added by Rich Ewbank - (0) user reviews.

You know what they say about big feet? The answer is… ‘it sucks if massively when you’re shopping for a snowboard’. Well that used to be the case! Introducing the fatter brother of the Figment, the Artec Phenom is sufficiently wide to eliminate any toe drag, even if you have clown shoes, but still incredibly responsive thanks to the Omega sidecut.
