Hey all!

I’m serious about purchasing a splitboard this season and I need some feedback whether or not I’m about to make a good decision buying the Prior Brandywine Splitboard.

I’m a petite female 5’2’’ and 105 lbs. I’ve been resort riding for 5 years on a 146 cm Ride Solace. I did my AST level 1 last season and tested the snowshoes and Ride Solace in the backcountry. I think it’s time to get serious about backcountry…which means a splitboard purchase is in order.

I’ve searched the web for as many reviews on this board as possible and I’ve compared reviews with the Venture Storm and Mojo RX. So far my research is directing me to the Brandywine because Prior makes a 150 cm, where as the other 2 boards start at a 152 cm. Prior is Canadian and therefore the best deal.
What I’m questioning is whether or not the Brandywine will be flexy and poppy enough for me, given that I am a lightweight and it’s still important to be able to crank those turns in the pow. I do like to take jumps and play on the snow when I can (Started riding park a couple years ago), so I’m hoping the Brandywine won’t feel too stiff and rigid in comparison to what I’m used to. Just enough to be able to ride the pow pow and glides those turns nice and chill. Freebird style.

Any feeback, suggestions or further knowledge/reviews on the board(s) mentioned above would be super helpful!

Merci buckets,

Brett

splitboard.com, a dedicated splitboard community online.  They will know way more then us.

also check out MTN Approach, I’m considering this system as you can use any board you want.
