OK, totally into snowboarding at the Olympics!  The boardercross events were awesome!  The course was in rough shape but the features were sick.  Canada did well in both mens and womens…  Seth Wescott came out of nowhere in the end to get the gold.

Halfpipe today was all USA in the end.  What can be said of Shawn White that hasn’t been said?

I so wish there was a freestyle park event, would be epic!

Yeah Snowboarding has got a lot to be proud of at the Vancouver Olympics. Sat in my work office surrounded by people who have absolutely no interest in winter sports, all they’re talking about is how crazy the boardcross was and how much they injoyed the halfpipe last night… Snowboarding owns Vancouver 2010! Our sports grown up and isn’t it handsome!

Oh and Shaun White!! Truely awsome! 48+ / 50 in his last run… I was blown away. But isn’t it crazy how quickly everybody follows his lead. Double corks are now a stock trick. I was loving the Japanese riders.. those guys go sooo huge!

Truely a sick ride Shaun showed us in the finals. Incredible how he forced the last trick to happen with absolutely no speed.. Crazy stuff that worked, I already kinda saw the bail coming! jeeez..

I just watched shaun whites final again. That guy has more in the tank- though his ride was awesome, he did not land the tomahawk as well as he could have… Saying that, who am I to criticize?

It must be impossible to judge a trick that only one person can do! I’m just wondering what’s next fs 1260 double cork? Double Alley Op chuck flips? To be fair it was Marc Andre Tarte who first threw a double mctwist and seriously ate sh*t! The guy almost killed himself trying it back in 2006
