Quite different boards you’re eyeing up there. The Omni is quite soft… still poppy and agile, but more for the park rider. The One Mag is a rocket, insane edge hold with the Magnetraction edges and a super slippy 4.4k base, but this board is ish-stiff… kind of in the T6 genre of rides.. but half the price, an absolute bargain.

Afraid I haven’t ridden the Devon Walsh. His rides on Forum back in the day were renown for being quite stiff, think enormous BC kickers into super steep landings. Devon likes to land quite tail heavy in the pow, so expect a super snappy tail.

Yeah a good option. The 156.5 is quite a bit stiffer than the omni, the pop feels like it comes from the tail of the boards as opposed to through the length of the deck. But these boards carve great are really forgiving because of the rockered tip and tail and float really well in the pow. Another board worth looking at is the Rossignol Angus. A real hit this season, Tom our head of testing really rated it, it uses a very similar camber/rocker hybrid to the Yes board’s Camrock, called Amptek. I think both these decks are proving quite hard to get a hold of right now. Arno at Rossi was telling me that Rossi sold out of Angus’ months ago.
