hi people !) i need some help on snowboard rossi jdub size the 2011 model.
i’m 65kg and 175cm and size 8 boot. i wonder if 158 cm desk will be good for me.
i used to ride 155c boards, but this one is a good bargain.
i’m all-mountain rider. But i wanna learn some freestyle tricks :)
thanks in advance.

Hi Andre,
I have an older fully cambered Rossi JDub 158. I weight 74kg and I’m just under 180cm. In the past I have used it for freestyle but now that I own an Angus too I only use the JDUB for riding halfpipe and for days when I want to carve so hard it leaves trenches in the snow. Even though the JDub is softer than it has been in the past, it is still very firm.. I’d say an 8/10. I’m heavier and slightly taller than you, I also ride nearly everyday during the winter so my legs are fairly strong, and I find the JDub 158 too stiff for general freestyle. If you like stiff boards, go for it, but if you want something more progressive I’d look at a board like the Angus.

Thanks for reply Rich! I know Angus is decent. but design is terrible ))) What about K2 Fastplant?

The Fastplant is the king of freestyle boards. Probably the best freetysle board for people coming from an all-mountain snowboarding background. Forgiving but lively, stable but agile. A great board for riding in the park and having fun all over the mountain from groomers to powder.
