On the fence here..

Advanced rider of 20+ years and looking for a screamer that is good in all mountain conditions.  I have been riding a Ride Timeless 68 for the last few years and want to step into something that is fast, carves, great in pow, steeps and can jump into bumps.  I have been in between a NS Titan 64, NS Premier or Lib Tech Travis Rice C2 with the new banana tech.  Haven’t had the opportunity to test anything out and need to buy a board blindly as the Ride is shot.

If someone could help me jump on either side of the fence it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there Butkus and welcome to snowboard-review.com!

The NeverSummer Titan is the only board out of the three decks you have in mind which is not rockered; this means better edgehold and pop compared to the LibTech TravisRice and the NeverSummer Premier.

If you are mainly riding pow, I would have a look at rocker tech decks where tip and tail are rockered and not cambered (as it is with NS’s RC tech or LT’s C2) like it is used e.g. on YES or Rossignol boards to get the best possible flow on the pow.

Also, if you haven’t already, make sure to check out our Rocker/Camber informations for more details on the different techs: http://www.snowboard-review.com/snowboard_guide/basics/

Cheers Tobi

Thanks for the advice.

I think what has me most interested in the Lib Tech is the “Magna Traction”, and it has probably swayed me to the other side of the fence.  Between the 3 i don’t think i can go wrong, so i’ll give it a go.

Can’t be more stoked for the season..

Thanks again..
