Oh Deeper is going to be the nuts this year, I watched a quick clip on Mpora where they were snowed-in their tents for a week long storm. By the end the snow was like a meter over the top of their tents!

Another film I’m looking forward to is a film called Equilibrium. Basically it’s a snowboard documentary about the merging scene in Bulgaria. It deals with the scene in the early days when boards had to be smuggled in from Western Europe. I think it’s great to watch films thatshow how positive snowboarding is to peoples lives, and I love a good adventure- Equilibrium Trailer

Also looking forward to the new Forum video F’ It… insane riding! F’ It trailer

Saw this short clip, too- really amazing! I love movies where you get like some background information about the riding and a story, not just some pictures of guys looking cool and then 40min rails..

The Forum trailer indeed looks dope! Definitely something I’m gonna check out as well!

For sure NowHere, really liked Neverland.  They actually have a tour and it stops in Calgary early October so it’ll be rad to watch it in a movie theatre.

The Storming by Standard.

Don’t Panic! by Isenseven.

Now You Know by Sandbox.

Forum for sure.

Two big thumbs up for Don’t Panic!  Super slick editing and a buttload of big kickers…  seriously like go big or go home stuff.

Watched 9191, Nowhere, Hello World, and Fuck It.
Riding wise out of those 4 9191 and Nowhere takes the spot. 9191 is only 20 minutes long but is just simple editing, plain sick freeriding by Gigi Ruf mostly and some other pros (Jake Blauvelt, Wille Yli Luoma, Bryan Iguchi, etc.).

Nowhere is also mostly freeriding with a little bit of urban/jibbing but man the soundtrack is horribleeee.

Overall my favorite out of those 4 is Hello World because of the clean edit and nice music. Forum’s Fuck it has a lot of jibbing/urban stuff from the younger guys but omgzorz John Jackson’s part is sickkk.

I totally agree on NowHere…  Absinthe as I am figuring out go a little too artsy and indie for my tastes on the soundtrack.

Can’t wait to see F It on the big screen this Friday!

I missed the Forum movie due to the flu but I bought it on iTunes, well worth the $9 bucks!  No Peter Line and Daniel Elk and Pat Moore and Andreas Wiig parts are super small…  all probably due to injuries but the young guns stepped up to fill in nicely.  And John Jackson is off the hook again in the backcountry.  Banging sound track and the perfect amount of Forum humour to break up the riding.

Watched Cheers today, pretty good. I don’t like the part where Joe Sexton just “fuck you” the hell out of this guy with the dogs. I think that kind of stuff is not needed in snowboarding movies, it just creates a negative image of snowboarders.

seconded. isenseven has consistently put out my favourites over the past few years, and Don’t Panic was no different. still haven’t had a chance to check out F’ it but i’m hearing good things.

i saw DC’s IT, it was pretty sick. had a couple of insane moments, the rest was fairly ordinary.

can anyone recommend some films that are heavy on the urban riding? i get bored of seeing slopes/resort parks, i find the gritty, clever shit more appealing. “Committed” by Strait Jacket films is one of my alltime favourites because of this. isenseven is big with it as well.
