I’m looking for a nice board that can perform all over the mountain and exceptionally well in the park. I’m also looking for a soft flex and a smooth ride in the board. Any suggestions?

Need a few bits of info first.

What kind of terrain are you riding? Is the snow usualy in good condition?
How long have you been riding for and what is your ability?
Sorry, can’t work out if you’re a man or a lass from your forum name?
What is your weight and height?
Do you have any preference as to whether the board is cambered, rockered or flat?
How much are you looking to spend?
What size are your feet?

I’m an all mountain rider, riding for 6 years, I’m a man, I’m 5’9, 170 lbs, I didn’t really set a limit on the price but I’m not looking to spend over $750, and i wear a 11.5 boot

Two boards that cross my mind immediately are the K2 Turbo Dream Wide 157 (only 260mm width) which is quite soft flexing for an all mountain snowboard, The rocker loosens it up and makes it fun in the park and on the rest of the mountain.

Secondly, worth checking out the Arbor Westmark 155 (width 259mm). Directional twin shape for out of park versatility. this years board is cambered, but 2011s is rockered which makes it crazy soft, so if you want ta board that’ll work all over the hill probably best to go for this years camber. Nice toch is bamboo in the core, this makes snowboards really poppy and lively.

Let me know what you think.

I’ll put a plug down for the K2 Parkstar Wide…  I purchased it and it performs really well all over the mountains. :)

I’m personally a fan of K2. I purchased the K2 Parkstar Wide and I love the way it performs but I am also looking for another board with a softer flex and a smooth ride. And I will look into the K2 Turbo Dream. Thank you

I have a K2 Turbo Dream 157w. Best board I have ridden, I highly recommend it.
