I have read great reviews of the Rome Gold. It is a transworld GOOD WOOD for 2012/2013 and that’s the board I’m looking to buy on sale.
I’ve been riding about 5-10 times/year since 2008. I’m an intermediate rider, mainly freeride. I’m still riding my beginner board - a Burton Feather, but I want to upgrade to something faster. My husband rides an arbor 162 aframe and has been riding as long as I have. Often my board keeps me from keeping speed with him. I’m 5’2”, 120 pounds.
My concern is that while I get out west or up north a few times a seson, I live in pennsylvania and need a board that can handle the icy conditions.
Will this board slaughter me on the ice?
Also - I’m looking for a recommendation for bindings.
Thanks for any advice you may have for me.
