I found a great deal on a Burton Rush 164 and don’t get me wrong I barely know anything about snowboards I did it once in my life and although I killed it at the first try I haven’t done my homework on research, but anyways as I was reading the height weight size of the boards chart I’m not sure if I should buy it I figured you guys here could help.

I’m 5’10’‘

Weight around 185, planning on lose weight tho maybe to 170 before winter

my shoe size is 9.5 I don’t remember what’s my boot size

and I would be riding just hills as I said I’m a beginner so no tricks or half pipes or stuff like that yet

Thanks for your help!

The Rush seems to be pretty old. I think board design has come-on a bit since it was release 12 years ago. Also IMO 164 is a little bit big for you unless you intend to be doing some high speed freeriding on it. If you choose a board around the 158-160 mark you’ll be closer to the bullseye.

Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for your reply I didn’t know the board was that old, I have one more question. How much is it valued? Like if you would have one of those how much would you sell it for?  Cause the one they offered me is 40 bucks and includes volcom binders and a case and the condition doesn’t look that bad so I was thinking about reselling it could you give me a value?

Volcom has never made bindings so I suspect they’re Burton Custom bindings with a Volcom sticker. $40 is damn cheap, at that price you might as well give it a go.
