I’m in need of a new board and don’t want to spend a ton of money.
I currently have a Santa Cruz camber style board? (I think) it’s over 10 years old.

I am looking at the Burton Déjà Vu V-Rocker Snowboard

Not sure if I should stick to the same shape or if getting a rocker style would be better.

I can ride pretty well. I don’t do jumps (on purpose) ;) I just want a board that will last and I can ride.

Is this board the way to go? Or should I look for a camber board?

Thanks! :)

What kind of riding do you like doing? Freeriding?

Do you ride in the backcountry or sidecountry or is your riding mostly down marked trails?

Are you riding switch at all?

Is there anything about your old board that you don’t like, e.g. is it too stiff, too heavy, do the edges slip out from time to time etc etc?

I usually ride the groomed runs and occasionally ride through the trees in powder. I dont really ride switch often. My old board I’ve had forever and don’t know anything else so I know any board will be an improvement.

I think that the edges slip sometimes. It is somewhat heavy as well but I’m guessing that’s because it’s 12 years old.
