Would be cool to talk about conditions and features at the mountains we ride at?  Maybe take it a step further and have a discussion to organize rides with fellow forum members?

Hey there reloaded, thanks for your input!
It is a good point you are making. It’s just.. you probably noticed that the number of different forums here is ‘strictly limited’, for now. Talked to Rich about some other forums like ‘Media’ (where to put in your best shots or videos and stuff like that) before and was being put off till some point in the future when the forums are more busy. Until then, they want to keep the forums as simple as possible. (Don’t ask me what ‘busy’ means in the admin’s eyes, hehe)

That’s my latest information, let’s see what the officials do have to say~

If the demand is there, then I don’t see an issue with putting together a forum section (sorry I don’t know the correct term for it). Snowboard Spot check - terrain and conditions. And having a thread where site users can arrange to meet up is a fantastic idea… maybe try and get some peeps to meet up at some brand tests. Good Idea…. I’ll get the all knowing Dan on the case!

I wish I was more tech savvy to maybe help out, I can make some graphics but that’s the extent of my web knowledge. :)

Yeah, just to add my 2 cents, we’d prefer to have a few relatively busy forums that we can split out where demand dictates, rather than have umpteen different forums with little activity.

Right now, poor Rich is run off his feet answering queries in the “Buying Advice” forum, but the general snowboarding forum is fairly quiet. All the forums suggested so far are great ideas, but for now those discussions can happily live in the general forum and we’ll split them out when the volume grows to the point where it make sense.

Thanks all for your contributions so far, both as feedback and on the forums generally.

Just to leave a quick note why I haven’t been here for quite some time: I do currently not have internet access at home. Hope I can be back soon again, though.

Until then, stay well~ =)

Hahaha, tell me about it.
I finally got my new connection settled, so hopefully I can be back in business (at least a bit) again!
