I’m thinking of buying a Rossignol Krypto Magtek 159cm board but I think it could be too long for me.

Height: 169cm Bit above 5’6”
Weight: Around 150lbs Near 70kg
Style: Freeride/All Mountain

Rossignol Krypto Magtek Snowboard

Would 159cm be fine or 156cm be more suited?

Help with this will be much appreciated.

Hey Shugo,

Rossi has the same weight suggestions (60 to 80 kg) for both lengths, the 156 and the 159.

If I were you, and around 170cm tall, I’d probably go with the 156.
If you have quite strong leg muscles and love going really really fast and carve like the devil, then you might want to stick with the 159 because of the plus of stability and edgehold it provides.

Be assured though, you can’t go far wrong with either size, so pick what you think fits you best!

Hope this helped, Cheers Tobi
