Hi everyone
I am looking to replace my K2 Gamma 157 (approx 2003).
Have been boarding for a few years but only once or twice a year. Would consider myself an intermediate, Spend most time on piste and carving.
I am Happy on most runs , trying the powder and small jumps. I am looking to progress my riding to learn switch, buttering ,on piste freestyle and to make more use of the park. Weak points are on the very steep stuff
Therefore looking a new board to take advantage of the latest tech and to increase confidence in the above.
I like K2 products and have been looking at the new likflike and flat camber due to increased edge hold which think would be better on the steep and hard pack but still playful in the park and freestyle.
However, the turbo dream seems to come highly recommended and I feel i may be missing a trick not embracing rocker tech! alternatively this seems to excel in the powder which I don’t really get into that much
As to size, I am 5ft 8 male, 150lbs, thinking of a 155/156 cm
Any help greatly appreciated!!!
With thanks

Hey mate,
I’d say go for the Lifelike! It’s pretty much everything you are looking for and don’t you worry about missing out on rocker tech.. as you said, rocker really comes in handy when riding pow or maybe slaying rails and jibbing around but if you’re neither riding constantly pow or spend 80% or more of your time in the park, you should chose the Lifelike over the Turbodream, in my opinion.
Hope this helped, Cheers Tobi

Yeah the Lifelike 155 sounds like what you are looking for. Plenty of edge hold a freestyle focused shape and the versatility of zero camber… it’s like a Slayblade minus a load of stiffness.
