Hi all,
I am looking to buy a new board…

Stats: 5’9” (175 cm), 145 lbs (66 kg), women’s size 7.5 US boot.

I have been riding for 12 years, average 30 days a season, almost exclusively in Tahoe.
Moving to Seattle in a few weeks.

Current boards: 2008 Smokin Superpark MTX 156, 2006 Rome Anthem 157, 2001 Lib-Tech Emma Peel 159. I also spend a fair bit of time on the boy’s 2009 Arbor Draft 155.

I would like to get something with some sort of rocker for better float.
I generally like things damp and on the stiff side (ahem) — my knees are a bit busted, and I can’t stand chatter.
Performance in powder and on groomers is much more important to me than pin the park for this one.
I am open to a woman’s board, but I don’t consider it to be a requirement.

A few thoughts: Roxy Envi BTX, Jones Flagship 154L, Never Summer Lotus.

Open to anything, though… What do you think?

The NS Lotus seems to be the exact thing you are looking for!
It’s a powder dominating deck with a pretty stiff flex for going hard and fast (ahem²).
It does have a really neat design as well and it comes with the NS 3 year warranty deal they have on each one of their boards.

I don’t think you have to look any further, go get it!

Cheers Tobi
