Snowboarding and music go hand-in-hand like cheese and biscuits or Bonny and Clyde. In many cases a good sound track can make or break a big release movie. It’s all well and good seeing Travis Rice Miller Flipping a 60ft Pine Tree but if he’s doing it to the sounds of 80s one hit wonder Rick Ashley it loses a little pizazz. This month’s Every Third Thursday takes the relationship between music and snowboarding even closer with the creation of a Signal Bass Guitar put together with the help of the world’s most famous guitar manufacturer Fender. Once again Signal have excelled themselves creating a seriously entertaining webcast that’s worth a watch.

Slappin’ da Bass Man! This ETT was actually not so easy and took just a little patience as we rocked this build for the man that held down gnarly bass lines for such bands as Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver and now Loaded - Duff Mckagan. Way tougher than we imagined, without the guys at Fender, well, who knows how it would have ended up. Hit play now and watch as we mix Duff’s signature bass with Signal’s signature show!
